Lumier Pictures Ships a Cinema-Grade Editor in the Browser

Until now, Lumier could generate cinematic footage — but finishing a film still meant exporting clips into traditional editing software. That gap is closed.

The new editor brings a professional non-linear timeline directly into the browser: multi-track video and audio, clip trimming, transitions, and title tools — the grammar of a desktop NLE, rebuilt for the web. Behind it sits a real programmatic render engine, so what you assemble on the timeline is exactly what renders out, frame for frame.

This completes the loop we set out to build from day one: script in, finished film out, one platform end to end. The editor is rolling out inside Lumier Pictures now, with cloud MP4 export following close behind.
